Alyson offers one to one poetry mentoring at £65 per hour.
Workshops:
poetry and creative writing workshops – including workshops with rocks and stones..
Commitment Communities:
ongoing support groups for people working on projects.
Creative Guidance:
one to one sessions for people working in the arts who are looking for guidance, encouragement and space to reflect and develop.
Alyson’s experience and training:
Alyson mentors with the Poetry Society and teaches for Arvon and Moniack Mhor.
She publishes poetry, fiction and non-fiction, and curates a poetry and public art project. Alyson frequently collaborates with scientists, artists, sculptors, composers. Her work spans different disciplines, falls between the cracks, climbs back out again.
Training includes:
- a Goat Island summer school;
- Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring from the Guildhall;
- PhD from St Mary’s University College;
- Certificate in Group Work from the Garnethill Centre;
- piano exams up to grade 5;
- Introduction to Deep Listening, Centre for Deep Listening, USA.
